Univision Finishes 2010-11 Season As the Only Top Five network to Deliver Audience Increases in Key Demos while ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX Reported Audience Declines

Top Spanish-Language Network is #1 Broadcaster, Regardless of Language, for Summer 2011, and #2 Year-to-Date Among Adults 18-34

Univision last week was the #1 network for the third consecutive Friday among Adults 18-49 and for the 25th consecutive Friday night among Adults 18-34

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of September 12, 2011 to September 18, 2011

•For the complete 2010-11 Season, Univision posts the highest year-to-year primetime audience increases among Adults 18-49 (+6%) while the English-language broadcast networks are reporting audience declines (ABC -8%, CBS -8%, NBC -10%, and FOX -6%); Univision also delivered the largest audience increase among Total Viewers 2+ (+5%) and Adults 18-34 (+4%).

•Thus far in 2011, Univision is positioned as the #2 broadcast network averaging more Adults 18-34 viewers than ABC (+3%), CBS (+19%), and NBC (+12%).

•For the week ending September 18, Univision was the #2 broadcast network in primetime among Adults 18-34 surpassing ABC (+27%), FOX (+22), and CBS (+54%) by double digit margins.

•Univision was the #1 network on four out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-34.

•Univision out-delivered two or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on five out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-49.

•Univision aired 8 of the top 20 programs this past week among Adults 18-34.

•From 8PM to 9PM airing “Teresa”, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network for the week among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

•Led by “Fuerza del Destino,” Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network for the week from 9PM to 10PM among Adults 18-34 and ranked #2 among Adults 18-49. “Fuerza del Destino” also increased its average audience compared to the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+4%), Adults 18-49 (+6%), and Adults 18-34 (+8%).

•This past week, Univision delivered double the audience compared to CW’s premiere week lineup across key demos including Total Viewers 2+ (+91%), Adults 18-49 (+94%), and Adults 18-34 (+106%). Univision also attracted more Teens 12-17 (+17%) than CW for the entire week.

• On Monday night, Univision secured the #1 position for the third consecutive week among Adults 18-34 and ranked #2 among Adults 18-49.
-Univision’s Novelas, “Teresa” and “Fuerza del Destino” ranked as the top two programs for the night among Adults 18-34.
-At 10PM Univision’s “Don Francisco Presenta” ranked among the top 10 programs for both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The Monday telecast increased its audience compared to the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.7 million, +13%), Adults 18-49 (1.6 million, +27%), and Adults 18-34 (902,000, +38 %.)

•Univision was the #1 network for the third consecutive Friday among Adults 18-49 and for the 25th consecutive Friday night among Adults 18-34.
-Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked as the top 3 programs for the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 including the #1 program for the night, “Teresa,” #2 ranked “Fuerza del Destino,” and #3 ranked “Rosa de Guadalupe.”
-Friday night’s 10PM episode of “Rosa De Guadalupe” delivered its highest telecast performance of the 2010-11 Broadcast season among Adults 18-34. The show increased its audience compared to the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.8 million, +19%), Adults 18-49 (2.1 million, +24%), and Adults 18-34 (1.4 million, +39%).

•On Tuesday night, Univision ranked as the #1 network among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49. Univision’s entire primetime novela lineup ranked among the top five programs among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. Both “Fuerza del Destino” and “Teresa” outperformed CW’s entire premiere lineup including the fourth season premiere of “90210” and the series premiere “The Ringer.”
-Head-to head at 8PM, Univision’s “Teresa” delivered more than double the audience of CW’s “90210” among Total Viewers 2+ (4.8 Million, +195%), Adults 18-49 (2.8 Million, +150%), and A18-34 (1.7 Million, +158%) and out delivered the CW premiere by double digit margins among Teens 12-17 (263,000, +85%).
-Following at 9PM “Fuerza del Destino” aired against “The Ringer” and delivered more than twice the Adults 18-49 (3.2 Million, +104%) and A18-34 (1.8 Million, +141%) viewers as the CW series premiere. “Fuerza del Destino” also posted double digit gains versus “The Ringer” among Total Viewers 2+ (5.2 Million, +85%) and Teens 12-17 (212,000, +47%).

•Univision also ranked as the #1 network among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49 on Thursday night. Univision’s entire primetime novela lineup out performed CW’s third season premiere of “Vampire Diaries” and the series premiere “Secret Circle.”
-Head-to head at 8PM, Univision’s “Teresa” out delivered CW’s “Vampire Diaries” audience by double digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (4.8 Million, +54%), Adults 18-49 (2.6 Million, +36%), and A18-34 (1.5 Million, +36%)
-Following at 9PM “Fuerza del Destino” aired against “Secret Circle” and posted double digit gains among Total Viewers 2+ (4.6 Million, +49%), Adults 18-49 (2.5 Million, +51%) and A18-34 (1.4 Million, +66%) viewers as the CW series premiere

•On Wednesday Night Univision ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-34, continuing to outperform CW’s premiere lineup including the 17th installment of “America’s Next Top Model” and the series premiere of “H8R.”
-At 8PM, Univision’s “Teresa” delivered almost triple the audience of “H8R” among Total Viewers 2+ (4.8 Million, +274%), Adults 18-49 (2.8 Million, +283%), and A18-34 (1.7 Million, +263%)
-Airing “Fuerza del Destino” at 9PM, Univision delivered more than double the audience of “America’s Next Top Model” among Total Viewers 2+ (4.9 Million, +150%), Adults 18-49 (2.9 Million, +155%) and A18-34 (1.7 Million, +138%) viewers.

•On Saturday night Univision’s “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) ranked among the top 5 programs for the night among both Adults 18-49(1 Million) and Adults 18-34 (513,000) viewers.

• Last week, TeleFutura generated 405,000 Total Viewers 2+, 216,000 Adults 18-49 and 94,000 Adults 18-34 during Broadcast Prime (Mon-Sat 8pm-11pm/Sun 7pm-11pm).

• TeleFutura’s M-F 8pm novela “Doña Bella” averaged 358,000 Total Viewers 2+, 176,000 Adults 18-49 and 73,0000 Adults 18-34. Experienced audience increases compared to its prior week performance among Total Viewers 2+ (358,000 vs. 336,000; +7%).

• In its 5th week, TeleFutura’s weeknight 10pm novela “Reto de Mujer” was watched by 330,000 Total Viewers 2+, 208,000 Adults 18-49 and 74,000 Adults 18-34. The novela produced audience gains versus its previous week average (09/12/11-09/16/11) among Total Viewers 2+ (330,000 vs. 313,000; +5%), Adults 18-49 (208,000 vs. 199,000; +5%) and Adults 18-34 (74,000 vs. 63,000; +17%).
