WHO PEGGY IS

Peggy Dold launched Navigation Partners LLC in 2008, following more than two decades as an executive in the entertainment industry.

A former professional musician and a 20+ year veteran of the entertainment industry, Ms. Dold offers a creative approach to the businesses of technology, entertainment, art, and culture. A specialist in multi-cultural outreach, as well as in marketing to niche markets in the United States, Ms. Dold has also focused on the U.S. Hispanic market for the past 15 years. In addition, Ms. Dold has an extensive International marketing background working with media and consumer campaigns in multiple markets outside of the United States.

Serving as Vice President, International for Univision Music Group, the music division of Univision Communications Inc., from 2002 – 2008 (when the company was sold), Ms. Dold was responsible for directing international release schedules and marketing selected recording artists, including Los Tigres del Norte, Marco Antonio Solis, Ivy Queen, and Los Temerarios, among others. With four record labels and more than $200 million in annual net revenue during her tenure, Univision Music Group was the largest Spanish-language music company in the world.

Prior to the 2002 formation of Univision Music Group’s International Department, Ms. Dold held positions as Talent and Artist Relations consultant for MTV Networks Latin America, Head of Artist Relations for Crescent Moon Records (a joint venture between Emilio Estefan and Sony Music International), and Vice President, Island Independent Label Group, overseeing U.S. domestic marketing for the Mango, 4th & B’way, Island Red Label, Gee Street Independent, Great Jones, and Smash label imprints. At Island, she was instrumental in marketing such global artists as P.J. Harvey, Doug E. Fresh, Angelique Kidjo, Ronny Jordan, Yello, The Orb, Chaka Demus & Pliers, and Tricky, among others.

Ms. Dold’s decision to offer her professional expertise to businesses and entertainers other than musicians came from a desire to help companies expand past their traditional boundaries. Whether through developing new markets via International expansion, or marketing through the creative use of multiple media platforms, Navigation Partners LLC’s vision is simply to help clients expand their markets by creating new, more productive marketing and economic models for their businesses. Ms. Dold’s worldwide and specialty market perspective perfectly positions Navigation Partners LLC to create personalized solutions for the unique needs of business and entertainment clients through customized, strategic business development plans that embrace the technological revolution. In so doing, companies and entertainers can expand their markets as well as control, and navigate, their own destinies.

As a passionate advocate of cultural diversity, Ms. Dold is a relentless traveler, has worked all over the world, and enjoys colleagues and friends in the most unexpected places.
